Guidelines for undertaking surveys
The Agency’s survey guidelines provide guidance on the procedures required for planning and conducting analytical surveys and reporting their results. They are designed to ensure surveys are as consistent, fair and representative as possible, and comply with the principles of openness and transparency.
The guidelines are principally for use by FSA Project Officers, but they will provide useful information for contractors on how the Agency conducts surveys and in identifying the responsibilities of the individuals involved in a Food Standards Agency survey.
The guidelines were last revised in September 2011.
