Professor Charlotte Maltin

Professor Maltin is the Science and Innovation Manager with Quality Meat Scotland. She gained a BSc in Physiology from Aberdeen University and a PhD from the Department of Neurology at the University of Newcastle Upon Tyne.
Following a period on a Royal Society European Fellowship in Sweden, she spent 24 years working with the Rowett Research Institute in Aberdeen where, latterly, she was Head of the Muscle Biology Group.
She holds an Honorary Professorship at The Robert Gordon University in the School of Life Sciences.
