Edinburgh-based Graeme Millar is the Chair of the Scottish Food Advisory Committee.
He has a BSc (Hons) Pharmacy from Heriot-Watt University in Edinburgh, and a Fellowship of The Royal Pharmaceutical Society of Great Britain. He has also been Chairman of a number of NHS Scotland organisations and was the youngest appointed Chairman and non-executive Director before stepping down recently after 20 years in the health service.
Mr Millar has also been Vice-Chairman of Quality Meat Scotland.
He currently holds a number of other positions including Chairman of the Scottish Construction Forum and he is a member of the Medicines Commissions of Great Britain. He is also a director of a small number of SMEs, mainly working in the area of Health and Lifestyle.
