Edinburgh-based Mrs Burns is currently Manager of NHS Lothian’s Health Promotion Service with a responsibility for range of topic and setting based programmes including Food and Health. She trained as a dietitian at Queen Margaret College in Edinburgh and has been state registered since 1977. Subsequently Mrs Burns, gained a BSc (Hons) in Health Studies.
She is a member of the British Dietetic Association and the Scottish Public Health Nutrition Network.
