Contaminants in Food (Scotland) Regulations
Tuesday 22 May 2007
This Guidance Note has been produced by the Food Standards Agency with the aim of providing informal guidance and a general introduction to The Contaminants in Food (Scotland) Regulations.
The Regulations, which are made under The Food Safety Act 1990, make provision for the enactment and enforcement of European Commission Regulation 1881/2006 which sets maximum limits for certain contaminants in foodstuffs, and implement a number of allied enforcement Commission Regulations dealing with sampling and analysis procedures.
