FSA in Wales
Working with schools in Wales
The Food Standards Agency in Wales is committed to developing its programme of work with schools within the Principality. It is actively engaged with primary and secondary schools to educate children on the importance of food safety.
Current work that the FSA is undertaking with schoolchildren is with Foundation and Key Stage 2 pupils and more recently with Key Stage 3 and 4. The bulk of the programme focuses on three key projects: Crucial Crew, school-based workshops and a level II e-learning course on food safety and hygiene.
