FSA Board Member for Northern Ireland and Chair of Northern Ireland Food Advisory Committee
Colm McKenna retired from the industry in October 2008, following a long and successful career in financial services, which included leadership positions in Corporate Treasury, International Banking, Trade Finance and Marketing. Since then, he has dedicated his energies to Board level leadership in the Northern Ireland Public Sector.
He currently holds the following roles:
Chairman of the South Eastern Health and Social Care Trust since October 2008.
Chairman of Northern Ireland Confederation for Health and Social Care (NICON) since December 2013
Chairman of BBC – NI Appeals Advisory Committee since May 2014.
Chairman of the Agri-Food and Biosciences Institute since April 2014.
Chairman of the NI Assembly Secretariat Audit and Risk Committee, since December 2011 having served as Independent Member since 2009
Non-executive director and Chair of ARAC of the Northern Ireland Courts and Tribunals Service since May 2011.
Chairman of Northern Ireland Public Sector Chairs Forum since April 2016
In his spare time, Colm is Chairman of Club Aontroma, the commercial/fundraising organisation behind Antrim GAA. He lives in Glenavy, Co. Antrim with his wife Giuseppa and they have two grown up children and six grandchildren.
