The Food Standards Agency has produced guidance to assist enforcement authorities in their work.

Guidance to local authorities on the identification of Primary Production establishments

The FSA has considered how to assist enforcement authorities in building up a picture of primary producer information in their area, with an emphasis on identifying producers of the highest risk ready to eat crops. The list of sources included in this document can be used by enforcement authorities as an aid to building up a list of producers. The sources listed are not exhaustive and should not be considered in isolation as there is potential for  crossover and exchange of information between different agencies.
