Daylesford Organic recalls Organic Cottage Pies because of incorrect date labelling

Daylesford Organic is recalling Organic Cottage Pies with use-by dates of 14 January 2019 and 21 January 2019 because of incorrect date labelling. The product should have been labelled with use-by dates of 14 December 2018 and 21 December 2018.

Risk statement

The affected product has been labelled with incorrect use-by dates, and therefore could inadvertently be eaten past the date by which it can be safely consumed.

Action taken by the company

Daylesford Organic is recalling the above product. Point-of-sale notices will be displayed in all retail stores that are selling this product. These notices explain to customers why the product is being recalled and tell them what to do if they have bought the product. Please see the attached notice.

Our advice to consumers

If you have bought any of the above product do not eat it. Instead, return it to the store from where it was bought for a full refund.
