FSA Board meeting papers published for June 2020

The agenda and papers for the June Board meeting have been published.

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, this meeting will be an online event only on Wednesday 17 June 2020. It will begin at 10.30am and will be chaired by FSA Chair Heather Hancock. You can register to view online.

The agenda includes:

  • A report detailing the FSA’s response to COVID-19 to date, and future challenges. 
  • An update on what the FSA has done since the UK left the EU at the end of January, our involvement in trade negotiations and approach to the Northern Ireland Protocol.
  • The final annual report by outgoing Chief Scientific Advisor Guy Poppy.

Submitting a question

You can submit questions from Monday 15 June until 12:00 on Tuesday 16 June, to board.sec@food.gov.uk. Any questions received after the deadline, including on Wednesday 17 June, will be answered by correspondence only.

COVID-19 and changes to 2020 FSA Board Meetings

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, FSA arrangements for Board meetings have changed for the remainder of 2020. Board and Business Committee meetings will be conducted online, in line with Government advice on working from home where possible.
