Views wanted on revised ‘Approval of establishments: guidance for local authority authorised officers’ and Q&A document

The FSA is inviting local authorities and other interested parties to provide comments on the FSA’s revised guidance and the newly developed Q&A document that will accompany it.

Your views are wanted

The FSA guidance for local authorities has been revised following a routine scheduled review and changes include some clarification of existing FSA policies in this area as well as updates to legal references.

The new Q&A document has been produced to accompany the guidance to help local authority officers to interpret the guidance and the legislation by using some real life examples of approvals and exemptions from approval.
