Georgia Taylor– Welsh Food Advisory Committee member
Outlines the professional history and qualifications of our Welsh Food Advisory Committee members.
Georgia joined the Advertising Standards Authority (ASA) in 2010 as an Investigations Executive, managing a varied caseload of investigations into advertising complaints. From there, she moved to Leatherhead Food Research to provide consultancy to the food industry on all food law matters, often collaborating with scientific colleagues in the Nutrition and Consumer and Sensory departments.
Whilst studying law in 2016, she joined DWF Group where she works as a Regulatory Consultant within the Regulatory, Compliance and Investigations team, providing legal advice to clients on consumer products and advertising, with a particular focus on food.
Over the past 10 years she has contributed to various food-related events, including presenting at Vitafoods Europe and the University of Reading’s Food Industry Symposium.
Georgia holds a first-class degree in Combined Studies and a Masters in Art History from Manchester University as well as a Graduate Diploma in law from BPP University.
Georgia lives with her family in Bristol but her family roots lie in Wales. She spent many childhood holidays exploring Rhossili bay and climbing the Skirrid.
