Grannies Choice/WJN Supplies has withdrawn some packs of its Grannies Choice Chocolate Teacakes because they contain milk, soya and wheat, which are not mentioned on the product label. This makes the product a possible health risk for anyone with an allergy to milk, soya or wheat or an intolerance to milk or milk constituents and/or gluten.

Our advice to consumers

If you have bought the above product and have an intolerance to gluten or milk  or milk constituent or an allergy to milk or soya, do not eat it. Instead, return the product to the store from where you bought it for a full refund.

Action taken by the company

The company has withdrawn the above product and will be issuing point-of-sales notices in stores where the product has been sold.

No other Grannies Choice products are known to be affected.
