FSA e-News July issue now online
The July issue of the Agency’s monthly newsletter has been published and is available online. This issue highlights the Board’s response to the horse meat review and the action plan which has been put in place to implement the report recommendations.
We also bid farewell to our outgoing Chair Jeff Rooker, who steps down this month at the end of his four-year contract.
In this edition you can find out more about a new section on food.gov.uk that invites public and stakeholder feedback on how our proposals might affect you and your work, so don’t forget to click through.
You can also read about how the Agency in Northern Ireland is helping members of the food industry to comply with new food labelling regulations, while colleagues in Scotland are inviting tenders for a project that looks at young people and what influences their food purchases.
And we round off this issue with exciting research on domestic kitchen practises (do you recognise yourself in it?), the latest stats from the Tracker report and the science research from the Agency.
New format e-News debuts in September
The most exciting news for us however, is that after our usual publishing break in August, we hope to debut a brand new format for FSA e-News.
The new format of an HTML email will offer readers access to video footage, the opportunity to engage with us via our social media channels and of course all the latest from the Agency.
So don’t forget to look out for us, tell your friends about us and subscribe to the newsletter, via the link below, if you haven’t already!
