Ian Gibson, Director of Corporate Services

Ian Gibson joined the FSA in October 2025.
Ian previously worked at the Ministry of Defence and has had a long career in a variety of challenging roles – including as the Finance and Corporate Services Directors in two major Defence organisations (Strategic Command and the Defence Nuclear Organisation). His previous job in Defence was to support the Permanent Secretary in the creation of the Department of State. He has also previously worked in the Home Office on National Security issues.
A qualified accountant, Ian is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants.
