Zipvit Ltd is recalling ZV Whey Protein 80 because it contains milk which is not mentioned on the label. This means the product is a possible health risk for anyone with an allergy or intolerance to milk or milk constituents. The product was mainly sold via the company’s websites www.zipvitsport.co.uk and www.zipvit.co.uk but also in their factory shop.

Our advice to consumers

If you have bought the above product and have an allergy or intolerance to milk or milk constituents, do not consume it. Instead return the product free of charge in exchange for a full refund.

Action taken by the company

Zipvit Ltd is recalling the above product from customers and has been advised to contact the relevant allergy support organisations, which will tell their members about the recall. The company has also emailed its internet customers and will issue a point-of-sale notice displayed in their factory shop. These notices explain to customers why the product is being recalled and tell them what to do if they have bought the product.
