P&B (Food) Ltd is recalling Heera Punjabi Wadi because it contains undeclared gluten and soya which are not mentioned on the label. This means the product is a possible health risk for anyone with an allergy to soya or an intolerance to gluten.

No other P&B (Food) Ltd products are known to be affected.

Soya and gluten 

This product contains soya (batch PB8370) and gluten (batches 19F15X35-1 and PB8370) making it a health risk for anyone with an allergy to soya and / or an intolerance to gluten.

Our advice to consumers

If you have bought the above product and have an allergy to soya or intolerance to gluten, do not eat it. Instead return it to the store from where it was bought.

Action taken by the company

P&B (Food) Ltd is recalling the above product from customers and been advised to contact the relevant allergy support organisations, which will tell their members about the recall. The company has also issued a point-of-sale notice to its customers. These notices explain to customers why the product is being recalled. Please see the attached notice (updated 22 November 2017).
