Power Body Nutrition Ltd. is recalling NOW Foods Vitamin A 25,000 IU from Fish Liver Oil because the levels of Vitamin A in the product exceed the maximum recommended intake.

Long term consumption of this product could result in liver and bone toxicity. It is a dose which can increase the risk of birth defects if consumed by pregnant women.

Our advice to consumers

If you have bought any of the above product do not eat it. Instead, return it to the store from where it was bought for a full refund.

Action taken by the company

Power Body Nutrition Ltd. is recalling the above product and has informed their customers vial email containing a point-of-sale notice. This notice explains to customers why the product is being recalled and tells them what to do if they have bought the product. Please see the attached notice.
