Agenda and papers for the November 2022 Northern Ireland Food Advisory Committee (NIFAC) meeting

Executive Summary

The Committee will be undertaking a visit to Lakeland Dairies in Newtownards to receive a presentation about their work, as well as touring their facilities.  Lakeland Dairies is one of the largest dairy co-operatives on the island of Ireland, serving customers in over 80 countries.

Following the tour, the Committee will receive a presentation in relation to the Northern Ireland Protocol Bill, with a view to understanding the key policy principles within the Bill.  There will then be a Committee discussion to enable Members to consider the topic further.

           Consider the content of the visit and presentations and

           Comment and consider the impacts for Northern Ireland.
