Food and You 2 is a biannual ‘Official Statistic’ survey commissioned by the Food Standards Agency (FSA). The survey measures self-reported consumers’ knowledge, attitudes and behaviours related to food safety and other food issues amongst adults in England, Wales, and Northern Ireland.

Relationships between food safety and nutrition practices are largely unexplored. The aim of this project is to conduct secondary analysis of the Food and You waves 1 and 2 data to consider whether relationships exist between food safety and nutrition practices, and what the nature of these relationships is.

This project involved secondary data analysis of our Waves 1 and 2 Food and You data in order to increase understanding of domestic food safety practices.
