Aldi is recalling Gianni’s Cheeky Monkey Ice Cream because it contains undeclared wheat (gluten) which is not mentioned on the label. This means the product is a possible health risk for anyone with coeliac disease and/or an allergy or intolerance to wheat (gluten).

Action taken by the company

Aldi are recalling the above product. Point of sale notices will be displayed in all retail stores that are selling this product. These notices explain to customers why the product is being recalled and tell them what to do if they have bought the product. Please see the attached notice.

Our advice to consumers
