Ferrero recalls Kinder Surprise because of the possible presence of Salmonella

Ferrero is taking the precautionary action of recalling selected batches of Kinder Surprise because it might be contaminated with Salmonella. Only Kinder Surprise products manufactured in Belgium are affected.

Best before All dates between 11 July 2022 and 7 October 2022

The possible presence of Salmonella in the product listed above.

Symptoms caused by Salmonella usually include fever, diarrhoea and abdominal cramps.

Action taken by the company

Ferrero is recalling the above product. Point of sale notices will be displayed in retail stores that are selling this product. These notices explain to customers why the product is being recalled and tell them what to do if they have bought the product. Please see the attached notice.
