Pieminister Kitchens recalls various Pieminister pies because of incorrect use-by dates

Pieminister Kitchens is recalling various Pieminister pies as they have been labelled with an incorrect use-by date. The products have been labelled with use-by 24 June 2026 instead of use-by 24 June 2025. The products are therefore not safe to eat beyond their intended use-by of 24 June this year.

Risk statement

The products listed above have been labelled with an incorrect ‘use-by’ date which makes them unsafe to eat beyond the intended use-by date of 24 June 2025.

Action taken by the company

Pieminister Kitchens is recalling the above products. Point of sale notices will be displayed in all retail stores that are selling these products. These notices explain to customers why the products are being recalled and tell them what to do if they have bought the products. Please see the attached notice.

Our advice to consumers

If you have bought any of the above products, please do not eat them beyond their intended Use-by date of 24th June 2025. However, if you do want a refund, return them to the store from where it was bought for a full refund. About product recalls and withdrawals

If there is a problem with a food product that means it should not be sold, then it might be 'withdrawn' (taken off the shelves) or 'recalled' (when customers are asked to return the product).
