Costa is recalling several sandwich and wrap products because they may contain small stones. This may present a choking hazard and are unsafe to eat.

These products may present a choking hazard and are unsafe to eat.

Action taken by the company

Costa is recalling the above products from customers. The company has also issued a recall notice to its customers. These notices explain to customers why the products are being recalled and tells them what to do if they have bought the products. Please see the attached notice.

Our advice to consumers

About product recalls and withdrawals

If there is a problem with a food product that means it should not be sold, then it might be 'withdrawn' (taken off the shelves) or 'recalled' (when customers are asked to return the product).
