Department for Environment Food & Rural Affairs (Defra), Welsh Government and the Food Standards Agency (FSA) are seeking your views on a proposal which would amend domestic Transmissible Spongiform Encephalopathies (TSEs) legislation in England and Wales.

Background
We are seeking views on a proposal which would amend domestic TSE legislation in England and Wales to:
- implement a number of amendments to the EU TSE Regulation in domestic TSE legislation
- implement amendments to domestic legislation which would provide better value for money for the taxpayer and remove gold plating.
