The FSA Board will receive updates on three key areas of work at an upcoming meeting.

The agenda and papers have now been published ahead of the meeting on Wednesday 26 May 2021.

The agenda includes updates on strategic change programmes and recovery from COVID -19 adaptations:

  • Local Authority (LA) Roadmap to Recovery, highlighting the plans on re-starting the full regulatory delivery system in line with the Food Law Codes of Practice for the highest risk establishments while providing greater flexibility for lower risk establishments
  • Achieving Business Compliance (ABC) setting out the progress made to date, how ABC is building on the achievements of Regulating our Future (ROF) and how the reform programme links to and supports the ongoing local authority recovery plan
  • The Operational Transformation Programme, including how the FSA will develop new approaches to modernise the regulatory framework and make sure that we continue to protect consumers

The meeting will begin at 9.30am and will be chaired by FSA Interim Chair Ruth Hussey. You can register to view online
