Our Welsh Language Skills Strategy outlines the actions and essential requirements we must take to ensure that we always maintain a sufficient and effective bilingual workforce.
The FSA in Wales uses an ALTE (Association of Language Testers in Europe) framework to assess Welsh language skills internally.
To further strengthen the FSA’s commitment to developing a bilingual workforce and provide a comprehensive Welsh language service across all teams and disciplines, the FSA in Wales will ensure sufficient availability and promotion (via the Welsh Language Unit) of training and development opportunities for staff.
The Strategy is a key tool for managers who are recruiting to the FSA in Wales and should be used when designing and implementing workforce plans.
