FSA Board Meetings

We are a non-Ministerial government department so we are governed by a Board, rather than directly by Ministers.

Our Board is chaired by Professor Susan Jebb and has up to 12 members. They are responsible for the overall strategic direction of our organisation.

As transparency is a guiding principle for the Food Standards Agency and key to maintaining public confidence, you are able to watch our board meetings.

Important
Due to pre-election restrictions on communications, the June Board meeting will no longer take place in public and will not be available to view live.  The recording of the meeting and the papers will be available on this website from 5 July.

The next FSA Board Meeting is on Wednesday 19 June 2024.
