Aldi is recalling Soupreme Creamy Chicken Soup and Specially Selected Pea and Ham Hock Soup because they may contain peanut, which are not mentioned on the label, making them a possible health risk for anyone with an allergy to peanuts.

Action taken by the company

Aldi is recalling the above products from customers and has been advised to contact the relevant allergy support organisations, who will tell their members about the recall. The company has also issued a point-of-sale notice to its customers. These notices explain to customers why the products are being recalled and tell them what to do if they have bought the products. Please see the attached notice.

Our advice to consumers

If you have bought any of the above products and have an allergy to peanuts, do not eat them. Instead return them to the store from where they were bought for a full refund. For further information visit help.aldi.co.uk
