15 September 2021 is the next FSA Board Meeting

We operate transparently and openly, which includes broadcasting our board meetings online.

The agenda for the next meeting includes the FSA/FSS Annual Food Standards Report, Genome Editing and the Animal Welfare Update. There is also the Operational Transformation Programme - Future Delivery Model Public Consultation and the Incidents and Resilience Annual Report.

Allergen labelling changes for prepacked for direct sale food

Guidance to help food businesses, affected by the new prepacked for direct sale (PPDS) allergen labelling requirements, better understand how to label their food products ahead of new allergen labelling legislation coming into effect on 1 October 2021.

Speak up for allergies

Living with a food allergy can affect people in different ways. For teenagers and young adults with a food allergy, navigating new experiences can bring about extra risks.

Our #SpeakUpForAllergies campaign aims to encourage young people to always speak to the restaurant about food allergies, never assume, and take control of their food allergy in different situations.
