Consultation subject
The Food Additives, Flavourings, Enzymes and Extraction Solvents (England) Regulations 2013, which came into force on 31 October 2013, consolidated all England SIs that related to food additives, flavourings, enzymes and extraction solvents, in force at the time into a single SI. The aims were to introduce a simplified and updated body of legislation for these substances, and to introduce the use of compliance notices for non-safety related offences for enforcement purposes.
